In the brand-new Little Seedlings Union – The Atoll Tribe, Whiskers Villagers will guide everyone into the distant Aldabra Atoll to meet the giant tortoises and explore their mysterious side.
This early summer, embark on an unforgettable parent-child journey! Specially designed for toddlers aged 1.5 to 2, the programme features sensory exploration activities that combine messy play with interactive storytelling and singing. Families will learn about the Aldabra Atoll, and both children and parents will take part in feeding the giant tortoise, observing their behavior and appearance up close.
Parents and children will also work together to create adorable giant tortoise-themed crafts, sparking creativity and stimulating the senses, while weaving joyful moments of nature-inspired family bonding.
Programme Highlight
- Children will get to know about Aldabra Atoll through interactive storytelling and singing session
- Get a closer look at the body features of Aldabra giant tortoises by providing them with a delicious breakfast
- Sensory activities with different natural materials which encourage the children to explore with their hands and improve their fine motor skills
- Children can express their creativity by decorating their own paper tortoise ”glove” with their parent or guardian
Programme Content
- Visiting the Aldabra giant tortoise in Ocean Park up close (approximately 10-15 minutes)
- Listening and participating in an interactive storytelling session, as a way to meet the Aldabra Atoll for the first time
- Exploring the mysterious Aldabra Atoll and giant tortoise through sensory play
- Parents and children work together to design simple crafts, creating their own handmade Aldabra giant tortoise

- Programmes are subject to change and/or cancellation due to animals’ conditions and venue without prior notice.
- The park will provide children an apron with sleeves for a certain activity.
- Participants will not have physical contact with animal during the programme.
- Parents will enter the Park together with the toddler participant after registration.
- Participants can stay behind after the programme, early admission before the programme is not available.
- The programme consists of indoor and outdoor activities, which include, but are not limited to, seeing animals, group games and hands on creation.
- Ocean Park Corporation will take photos and videos during the programme for any publicity or promotional materials of Ocean Park.
- If there is a need to apply for sick leave, please inform us in advance. Relevant substantiation documents have to be provided. An administration fee of HK$200 and any payment in excess of the amount of initial payment will be charged to each course change, sick leave (except providing medical certificate with the designated programme date of the participant) or refund request.

- One application is for one participant with one parent and for one programme only.
- Enrolment will be postponed for 1 day if the following circumstances occur at 12:00nn:
- Tropical Cyclone Signal Number 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory;
- Black Rainstorm Warning is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory.
- The selected programme code, date, time, meal’s selection (if applicable), and participant’s information and email cannot be changed or rescheduled. All payments made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please make sure the programme dates fit in participant’s schedule before enrolment.
- Parents will receive a confirmation letter via email once the payment has been received. Please pay attention to the spam or junk mailboxes of your email account.
