오션파크로 떠나는 즐거운 여행에 필요한 모든 것
From 1 July to 28 August 2016, Ocean Park will be debuting an exciting collaboration with Nickelodeon’s all-time favourite classic cartoon character, SpongeBob SquarePants, and his friends Patrick Star, Squidward Tentacles and Mr. Krabs, who have come all the way from Bikini Bottom to throw a wet and cool summer party with guests at the Park during this year’s Summer Splash! To tantalise everyone’s taste buds, a wide selection of SpongeBob’s beloved vegetarian dishes, snacks and desserts suitable for the summer will be available to guests at some of the Park’s food and beverage outlets, including Neptune's Restaurant, Tuxedos Restaurant, Aqua City Bakery, Panda Café and kiosks located at the Waterfront. Guests will also be able to find life-sized wooden displays of SpongeBob and his starfish sidekick, Patrick, standing inside the Park’s restaurants and kiosks, waiting to beckon them in!
Nick Lee, Senior Food and Beverage Operations Manager, said, “We are very excited to bring the SpongeBob collaboration to the table, and introduce inspired vegetarian dishes to our guests this summer. Apart from highlighting this bubbly character in the menu, we also adhere to the Park’s commitment to sustainability by using a selection of delicious, sustainably sourced vegetarian produce in hope to inspire younger generation towards a greener lifestyle.”
Leading the SpongeBob fun will be Neptune's Restaurant where diners will be greeted with life-sized SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star at the door with a sign introducing menu highlights. The reception will be turned into a tableau of SpongeBob’s instantly recognisable pineapple home, with a smiling SpongeBob SquarePants keeping guests company as they wait to be seated. Once inside, guests will be welcomed by characters from the popular animated series, projected through the restaurant’s signature GOBO lens projection, and seated at tables bearing SpongeBob’s smiling, cheeky face, turning the journey into a true SpongeBob dining experience for fans!
A variety of new vegetarian dishes will be on offer for lunch, afternoon tea and early dinner, including the four-course SpongeBob SquarePants Summer Fiesta Menu (HK$348) which matches the character’s signature yellow with dishes such as Miyake with Truffle Egg Mayo served with Garden Vegetables in Lemon dressing as an appetiser, Fresh Sweet Corn Cream Soup garnished with Toast, Mixed Grilled Vegetables with Portobello Mushroom Tower served with Sweet Corn Croquette and French Fries as a main, and a luscious Mango Mousse with Vanilla Ice-Cream and Fresh Fruits. Kids may choose to go on a fun-filled adventure with SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star on board the Ocean Express by enjoying the SpongeBob SquarePants Underwater Adventure Menu (HK$198). Guests can also immerse themselves in a leisurely afternoon with SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends in an aqua environment by ordering the afternoon tea sets (HK$168-HK$188), which offers a mix of savoury and sweet dishes, all served with freshly brewed coffee or tea.
