On 17 and 18 July, Ocean Park will be holding the “Summertime SINGphony” to celebrate the unique culture of Southern District with the full support of Southern District Council and The Warehouse Teenage Club. On this special weekend, you can share an authentic Hong Kong experience with family and friends through the marvellous performances by popular local bands, the inspiring cultural exhibition of the Southern District, and the workshops featuring memorable items and quality time. From pop music to traditional wisdom, join us on this journey to discover Hong Kong’s one-of-a-kind cultural gems!
Summertime SINGphony Concert
Eight popular local bands will share the same stage for the first time to perform their creative and dynamic pop music. We’ve also got local music bands surprising you with their wonderful music in a more leisurely way, as they will be busking at Aqua City with a delightful “feast” for your ears.
Art in South
The unique culture and history of the Southern District have been a rich source of inspiration for many artists. We have selected five art pieces with special charms and impressions of the South for you to enjoy, namely the Fire Dragon, Shadow of Fishery, Into The Unknown, Southern District Map, and Reminiscence in the South.
Art Craft Workshops
Colourful Zentangle Art Workshop is a relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns, which can help people relax. Participants can gain insight into the creation and enjoy a hands-on experience. Also, Scent Sachet Workshop will introduce the history of Aberdeen and Chinese incense, and the effects of different ingredients. Furthermore, it offers the chance for participants to make their own scent sachet.
