Kick off the first day of the Chinese New Year (17 February) with an unmissable festive celebration! At 10am, eight elaborately costumed lions and one majestic dragon will take centre stage at our lagoon platform in a powerful performance symbolising strength, unity, and good fortune. Don’t miss this one-time-only performance!
Adding to the joyful celebration, the God of Fortune will make delightful surprise appearances with his celestial companions, spreading warm blessings of prosperity and happiness for a bright and auspicious Year of the Horse!
Spin out good luck at Whirl-a-Wish panda garden
Then head to the Whirl-a-Wish Panda Garden at Waterfront Plaza to immerse yourselves in a world of good fortune and cuteness. Right at the front, festive horse drums await your beat to kick off the New Year with booming good vibes and unstoppable triumphs in the Year of the Horse! Giant colourful windmills spin gently alongside beloved Panda Friends characters, ready for delightful photo opportunities. Stroll amidst vibrant flower beds and give the dazzling golden windmills a spin to welcome good luck. Mega-sized wishing knots symbolise smooth sailing and perfect harmony, flanked by lush green bamboo for steady success.
Savour festive flavours and bring home panda twins CNY souvenirs
Complement your festive visit with an exquisite meal at Neptune's Restaurant. The special Chinese New Year dinner menu, available until 16 February 2026, invites families and friends to savour the rich flavours of reunion. Ocean Park's dazzling float for the 2026 Cathay International Chinese New Year Night Parade makes an exclusive appearance as a stunning photo spot inside the Park. This year's float features the Park's iconic Ocean Express, cable cars, and Ferris wheel, joined by the adorable Panda Friends in their festive New Year costumes!
