Application Method

Local School Education Programmes

Ocean Park Academy Hong Kong (OPAHK) programmes are available from Mondays to Saturdays, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026, except public holidays and blockout dates.

Applications for 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026 begin at 12:00 noon on 14 August 2025. For programmes in July and August 2026, applications begin at 12:00 noon on 2 March 2025.

All applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. The monthly deadline is the 15th of the previous month.

  1. Application forms may be downloaded from our website and submitted via email to opahk-news@oceanpark.com.hk
  2. Each programme requires a minimum number of student participants and has a maximum capacity. For details, please refer to our booklets. If the number of registered students is fewer than the minimum requirement, your school will be requested to pay for the minimum.
  3. Please select at least one programme for each student. 
  4. The activities offered by Ocean Park Academy Hong Kong (OPAHK) are part of our educational programme. They are not parent-child activities.
  5. Applicants will be notified of the application result and issued a Payment Notice within ten working days upon our receipt of the duly completed application form. If you fail to receive any notification within this timeframe, please contact our staff at (+852) 3923 2323 (select language and press [1], and then [4]).
  6. Please follow the instructions on the Payment Notice to complete the payment. Applicants can settle payment by credit card, bank transfer or cheque.
  7. The payment must be settled by the payment due date upon receipt of the Payment Notice.
  8. A Confirmation Letter will be sent to the school by email after the ​payment is duly received and confirmed by OPAHK. The receipt will ​be issued on the visiting day for collection. ​
  9. Tickets are available for collection upon presentation of the Confirmation Letter and valid identification documents of accompanying teacher at the Park’s Ticketing Office on the date of visits.
     

Terms & Conditions

  1. The programmes are only available for schools classified under the school level of Education Bureau of the HKSAR Government as "kindergartens", "primary schools" or "secondary schools" (including special schools among these school levels), and not available for schools classified as "others".
  2. Participants of the programmes must be the registered students at the school indicated on the application form.
  3. All programmes are conducted in Cantonese, English or Putonghua and the requests should be indicated in advance on the application form.
  4. If the payment cannot be settled by the payment due date or if the application is not duly completed, OPAHK reserves the right to cancel the application.
  5. Tickets can only be used on the date of validation. No refund or rescheduling will be made after confirmation.
  6. Participants must be punctual in arriving at the designated gathering locations. Latecomers will not be entertained, and the programme cannot be extended beyond the scheduled time.
  7. Additional teacher tickets’ holder does not include the participation of the programme. Ticket holders may enter the Park only after it opens and must use the Park facilities in accordance with public order. 
  8. Participants may bring in baby food and a reasonable quantity of food and beverages for personal consumption. For further information, please contact our staff at (+852) 3923 2323 (Select the language and press [1], and then [0]).
  9. Baggage and bulky item over the size of 56cm x 36cm x 23cm are not allowed in any attractions or theatre inside the Park. You may store them at our Baggage Rental Counter (next to the Stroller and Wheelchair Rental Counter at Aqua City, Waterfront).
  10. All photos and videos taken at Ocean Park are not allowed for commercial use without prior approval from Ocean Park Corporation. Admission to the Park signifies your permission and agreement for Ocean Park to take and use your photographs and videos for educational and promotional purposes.
  11. Applicants are not allowed to advertise in the name of "Ocean Park Corporation" or "Ocean Park Academy Hong Kong" without prior approval from Ocean Park Corporation.
  12. Students participating in specific programmes might need to take the Ocean Express to the gathering locations or attractions on their own.
  13. In the occurrence of the following events, OPAHK will reschedule the visits for schools affected to a new date within a month of the affected day:
    The Hong Kong Observatory issues Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal 2 hours before the visit, or;
    The Hong Kong Observatory issues Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 1 or higher 2 hours before the visit, or
    The Education Bureau announces class suspension of all schools.
  14. Programme contents and dates are subject to change or cancellation depending on animal and weather conditions. Animal educational demonstrations and rides experience may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Programme contents may be subject to change without prior notice.
  15. When the Hong Kong Observatory issues an Amber Rainstorm Warning Signals, animal educational demonstrations in specific programmes are subject to change or cancellation. Affected programmes include Exploration with Dolphins, Coastal Adventure, Interactive Theatre and Life Planning Education in Ocean Park (Marine Mammal Training and Husbandry).
  16. Ocean Park may suspend the operation and/or close any facilities for renovation work without prior notice. ​
  17. All guests must comply with Ocean Park Bylaw, safety rules, and the Park's Rules and Regulations which are accessible at the entrance and other locations throughout Ocean Park. Ocean Park shall be under no liability or responsibility for any loss of any kind or any damage to any property of any person in the Park.
  18. Ocean Park reserves the right to make the final decision on application procedure and approval.

Charitable Organisations Education Programmes

Ocean Park Academy Hong Kong (OPAHK) programmes are available from Mondays to Saturdays, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026, except public holidays and blockout dates.

Ocean Park Life-wide Learning Journey (Student Group Ticket) are available from Mondays to Saturdays, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026, except public holidays and blockout dates.

Applications for 1 September 2025 to 30 June 2026 begin at 12:00 noon on 14 August 2025. For programmes in July and August 2026, applications begin at 12:00 noon on 2 March 2026.

All applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. School should submit the application form at least 14 working days prior to the visiting day.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Ocean Park Life-wide Learning Journey (Student Group Ticket) (‘Student Group Tickets’) are only available for schools classified under the school level of Education Bureau of the HKSAR as “Kindergartens”, “Primary Schools” or “Secondary Schools” (including Special Schools among these school levels), but not available for schools classified as “others” by the same Bureau. Student group tickets must be applied by schools and are only for use by the applying school’s teachers, parents and students who must be aged 21 or below. Please note that any unauthorised resale of Ocean Park admission tickets is prohibited by the Ocean Park Bylaw (Cap. 388B).​
  2. Please download the application form from our website and submit the completed application form by email to . Online application is also accepted. Failure to meet the application criteria or application with less than 14 working days prior to the visiting date will not be accepted.
  3. Applicants will be notified of the application result and receive the Payment Notice within 10 working days upon our receipt of the duly completed application form.   7. Tickets are available for collection upon presentation of the Confirmation Letter and valid identification documents of accompanying teacher at the Park’s Ticketing Office on the date of visit.
  8. Tickets issued will be strictly in accordance with information provided in the application form. Ocean Park reserves the right to check students’ identity upon entry. All students must carry valid student identity cards for verification purpose at the turnstile.
  9. Holders of student group tickets, including students, teachers and additional adults, must be accompanied by the corresponding schools’ teacher and enter the Park in a group. Individual late comer will not be entertained.
  10. 1 accompanying teacher ticket will be issued for every purchase of 5 kindergarten student tickets or 10 primary/secondary school student tickets. Other teacher and adult could purchase additional adult ticket with a special discount. Two additional adult tickets could be purchased for each student group ticket. Free admission is granted to children under 3 years old.
  11. Student tickets are not applicable on Sundays, public holidays and the Park’s blockout dates (Please refer to the Park’s website: https://www.oceanpark.com.hk/en/education-conservation/education/student-group-ticket). Tickets can only be used on the date of validation. No refund or rescheduling will be made after confirmation.
  12. In the occurrence of the following events, Ocean Park will reschedule the visits for schools affected to a new date within a month from the affected day:
    The Hong Kong Observatory issues Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal, or;
    The Hong Kong Observatory issues Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 1 or higher, or;
    The Education Bureau announces class suspension of all schools.
  13. Rain or high winds may cause suspension of the operation of the Cable Car and mechanical rides. Under such circumstances, tickets are non-refundable. Each group of not more than 5 children (i.e. aged 11 or below) shall be accompanied by a person who has attained the age of 15 when traveling by the Cable Car.
  14. For safety reason, children must be at least 122cm (4 feet) to go on most of the mechanical rides. Anyone who suffers from any health and physical conditions that are likely to prejudice the safety of a mechanical ride or its passengers will be refused entry to that ride. Ocean Park shall have sole discretion in the implementation of this regulation.​
