Charitable Organisations Education Programmes

The following programmes are only available for charitable institutions and trusts of a public character which are exempt from tax under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

Programmes for Primary School Students (6-11 years old)

Ocean and Land Discovery (Primary)

  • Discover the biodiversity of the ocean and highland areas by visiting Grand Aquarium and Amazing Asian Animals
  • Observe and uncover the beauty of biodiversity

Rainforest and Polar Discovery (Primary)

  • Understand the tactics of animals under two contrasting climates in North Pole Encounter and Rainforest
  • Explore the impact of climate change on animals and reflect on the ways to live sustainably

Rides Discovery (Primary)

  • Compare and contrast the movement of Ferris Wheel and Flying Swing
  • Experience either Ferris Wheel or Flying Swing to get the feel of 'spinning'
  • Explore the use of spinning force in daily life

#One-way travelling time between the Ocean Park Main Entrance and The Summit is about 45 minutes. Please allow sufficient time to reach the programme location and return from Ocean Park.

All participants should enter Ocean Park at the same time. Organiser should approach our Ticketing Office for the admission procedure upon arrival at Ocean Park. Please then proceed to the designated gathering location as explained in the Confirmation Letter.

ˇProgramme fee includes education programme and self-visit at the Park.

Ocean Park issues 1 accompanying organiser ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased per group, so they can accompany students to the programme. An extra fee applies for any additional organiser to enter the Park, and the fee does not include the participation of the programme. Students cannot use the organiser admission tickets, and vice versa. 

The programme fees are valid until 31 August 2025.

Programmes for Secondary School Students (12-17 years old)

Ocean and Land Discovery (Secondary)

  • Visit Grand Aquarium and Amazing Asian Animals to discover the amazing behaviours and adaptations of animals
  • Observe and explore ways to live sustainably with marine and terrestrial animals

Rainforest and Polar Discovery (Secondary)

  • Investigate the impact of human activities to the environment through visiting North Pole Encounter and Rainforest
  • Get to know different research methods and design an experiment to investigate animal species

Rides Discovery (Secondary)

  • Get to know the design of rides at Thrill Mountain
  • Experience Arctic Blast to identify the thrilling parts of ride
  • Take safety and enjoyment into account, design your own roller coaster
