We will continue to put in place a series of strict precautionary measures to safeguard the health and safety of our visitors, staff and animals. On top of that, to comply with the Hong Kong Government’s latest anti-pandemic guidelines, the following new COVID-19 protection measures will be implemented:
- All visitors are required to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code or to register their names, contact number and visiting date and time, upon entry.
- All staff members of the Park will take the COVID-19 test before reopening and will have retest every 14 days.
Other COVID-19 protection measures at the Park include:
- All vistors, except children aged below 3, Hong Kong citizens aged 65 with maximum two accompanying children aged 3-11 and guests with Registration Card for People with Disabilities issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau in Hong Kong, are required to make an online reservation prior to their visits. Reservations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Park-wide visitor capacity and that of individual rides and facilities will both be reduced to not more than half. Alternative row blocking at all theatres will be enforced.
- All visitors and staff are required to undergo body temperature checks upon entry. The Park's first-aiders will provide further assistance to those with body temperature readings of 38°C or above. Other assistance include calling for an ambulance if needed.
- All visitors are required to wear masks at the Park except when eating or drinking. Masks will be available for purchase at designated locations. All proceeds after costs will go to Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong.
- In addition to Park restaurants, designated dining areas will be set up throughout the park for visitors to use.
- Additional hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed for visitors' use.
- Social distancing measures, such as floor stickers in waiting areas to keep visitors apart by at least 1.5 metres, and a maximum of four people per table at restarants and designated dining areas, will be implemented to help visitors keep a safe distance from each other.
